I have been Collecting Since around 2003 and selling on Ebay since about 2005. (as MMAtreasures then Combat Kingdom)
I first discovered MMA and NHB around 1999/2000 when i came across bad quality internet videos of "Karate vs boxing" or "Taekwondo vs Jiujitsu" fights and other underground no hold barred fights. From that day i was hooked, i searched for and downloaded everything i could find. The more i dived into this rabbit hole the more other sports were no longer interesting to me.
Once i discovered the more professional events like UFC and Pride FC with Fighters like Igor Vovchanchyn, Marco Ruas, Tank Abott, Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, The Shamrocks and The Gracies... i searched out every other promotion i could find from the USA to Japan and everywhere in between.
Just watching MMA videos soon wasn't enough. I started scouring the internet for MMA items (back when ebay or google would give you less than a page of results when searching for MMA or UFC).
I initially started with Event Programs from local UK events like Cage Rage, then picking up a UFC program here and there off the internet, and slowly adding other organizations. This became my obsession. But as all collectors know, it's a slippery slope, and i soon started hoarding all kinds, from posters, gloves, to toys and random memorabilia, especially stuff from the early days of the sport. Sometimes buying a whole collection or bulk lot from someone just to get one program or item i needed. So that's when selling unneeded items to fund my collecting started (Mainly on Ebay or MMA Facebook Groups).
This grew slowly over the years until the late 2010's when i considered it my second job.
Fast forward to 2022/2023 when i decided to create this website: Combat Kingdom to provide fans and collectors an easy place to find Authentic and Legit MMA Memorabilia, Old and New.
